This is more or less the establishing shot of the girl and the location for that matter. The hardest part was rotoscoping the girl and craning up with the shot. But again, the motor program saved my life.

Strap removal
In this shot, the strap of the camera had a canon brand logo. So the director asked me to take it out. A very simple effects shot. But I'm sure its not the last logo removal I'll have to do.
Eye Replace
This shot needed a simple eye replace on the girl. She is after all supposed to be dead...
Freakout!
This is the first shot in a series of the main character freaking out before he is taken over by the color.
Seamus Dolly
The thing that made me happy about this shot is that it is completely rotoscoped, but thanks to the new motor program, it only took about an hour to get a solid matte.
Woman and her television
The only thing in this shot that I'm not sure about is the layer containing the woman. We may use a photo of her in a different position.
Old Man
The only thing that needs to be fixed with this shot is to add more motion between the man and the hourglass.
Blowing trees and the Kids
These tests are all done in after effects, using a z-depth to simulate a 3D environment. The different layers were taken from hi resolution photos.
Production for Sermo at a Halt
At this point, the production for Sermo is at a standstill. With people bailing and elements not available, I can't really move on any further. So, I did what any other student would do. I hopped onto two different projects. These are music videos for the bands The Blowing Trees, and also The Seamus. So check em' out.
Shot 5
This is one of the more completed comps for the video. The actor is looking through the clouds at his feet. The bottom layer of clouds still could use some motion. But I'm happy otherwise.
Shot 4
In this shot the actors will be in the clouds, but again due to no backgrounds for this shot the compositing was halted...
Shot 3
This is the third composite... Besides having all of the same issues of the video on these posts looking sub-par. You can at least see the pulls...
Shot 2
This shot is really dark. However, I didn't want to do extensive color corrects before the backgrounds were given to me.
Again, there are some serious compression issues here that I just can't fix.
Shot_1
First off, I would like to say that these posts really don't do the composites justice. The compression and size of the videos just makes it looks bad. The final footage will be at 1280x720.
This is not the actual background. The matte painters bailed on the project, and so I just threw in some skies to test the key pulls.
